About the toys

What are your toys made of?

00-20 Platinum cure Silicone. Colors are achieved with Silicone pigments, and detail painting uses thickeners to allow the material to be painted on before it cures. All material is vacuum degassed  before being applied to the mold.

00-10 hardness silicone is also available. that this material has more give for individuals with a greater diameter than average, as well as a different feel when used. However this material has additional quirks which makes using it in a production environment difficult, and will incur an additional fee if applied for.

00-10 THINNED Silicone is a recent development. It's even softer, with much more give, in exchange for material durability under stress. Fortunately, for the intended purpose of moving an object in and out of the toy it's made of, this is not an issue.

Both 00-10 and the thinned variety are more susceptible to having permanent indents applied if the toy is gripped with sharp points ( So, fingernails, or pushing with one finger REALLY deep into the mass. )
Colorants are silicone pigments, mica powders rated safe for human use near the eyes and mouth, and glow powders.

Are your toys safe?

TLDR, yes.

To be more specific, Platinum Cure silicone toys are body safe, and I do not use or include materials I know to be harmful to the human body.

You can be sure that anything you see on the shop has had the base model at least, gone through rigorous practical testing before it ever goes on sale.

DOES THAT MEAN YOU USE YOUR TOYS BEFORE YOU SELL THEM??1?!?

I don't sell toys that have been "Used", no. Not unless it has been stated as such, and even then, any such toy will have undergone sterilization.

I keep prototypes of toys during the various stages of development which I then use to judge if it's ready to be made and sold.

My ponut has a hole on top!

That's a tailhole, by design.

Early on in the lifetime of the toy, it was planned to have customizable tail attachments. During testing however, this was found to be impractical to leave in during use, and to custom make tails for any possible combination.

Through feedback, it was decided to be left in so that anyone who wants to, could apply a tail.

This Tailhole will no longer be present starting January 29, 2023 onward.

Can I just paint ON the toy? Like with makeup? Or more of the silicone?

It's going to suck.

And using more silicone is going to be even worse.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume most folks haven't used "Paint" beyond watercolor sets when they were kids, spray cans, or jamming a wide brush into a can of unthinned paint and then slapping it against a wall surface to color it. The best case scenario for this is someone who regularly paints model figures, but that's still not a great start, gonna be real.

Even if you're okay with the added material delaminating, you're going to have very obvious brush strokes and raised surfaces, on top of the bubbled surfaces you'd be introducing without a vacuum chamber. Assuming of course the painted material didn't run. Or congeal into stiff peaks.

You'd be doing a repeat of the Ecce Homo, except with rubber and genitals.
